In order to transfer your iTunes music to an Android device, phone or tablet, you have to downloada different, similar music app such as Google Play Music that is compatible with Android and other devices.These apps and other standard apps and are available for free to download on the iTunes App Store.

You can do this by making use of a computer and a USB cable. You connect USB cable from your iPhone to computer. You also need to connect USB to your Android device if you don’t have Wi-Fi connection. A Mac computer has to use the Android File Transfer app for doing so. Following are the steps.
  1. Locate the folder for iTunes music on your Mac or PC. On a Mac, select Music>iTunes>iTunes Media. On a PC, select Files>Music>iTunes.
  2. Connect Android device to your computer.
  3. Open the music file folder on your Android device.
  4. Copy the iTunes files by drag and drop or using copy and paste.

Another way is by using desktop software called Double Twist. You have to download the software Double Twist online. It allows you to sync music to and from iTunes with simplicity. You just have to connect your device to a computer and copy the music to your Android device by drag and drop or copy and paste. You can transfer playlists also.

It uses Google cloud to store your music and you have to manually upload all your iTunes music files to the Google play account. You can also upload it automatically using the desktop manager. The music files go into the cloud and you can access it from the account. It allows you to connect to maximum 10 devices at a time.

All Android devices are preloaded with Play Music app and you don’t have to do anything once the iTunes music files are uploaded.
